Gardening Is For Children Also
My son has just turned 4 years old a few days ago. Kids would usually ask for a gift like toys or gadgets or accessories, but my son ask for a plant that we saw at a botanical garden when they had their educational trip yesterday. I was not so surprised hearing that he wanted to buy the butterfly zinnia garden in-a-pail as a gift. I know that he also wanted to have his own garden at our backyard. Ever since, we started gardening at home he has been curious about gardening stuff especially how plants grow and live. Gardening is actually a wonderful way for children to love science and they could develop a love of nature and build fine motor skills. He promised that he would take good care of the flowering plant and he will make sure that it will grow and blossom beautifully.
Without any hesitation, his father and I granted his birthday request. We bought the butterfly zinnia garden in-a-pail. He was so happy with the gift that he received that day and he immediately watered the plant and he put a little organic fertilizer in it. He can't seem to contain that happiness and couldn't sleep well last night. He kept on asking so may question about the plants and the life span of these plants and trees. He went to bed with those thoughts in mind. Children can learn new skills, have fun, play and develop self-confidence by spending time in the garden tending plants and growing their own food. Just like my son, most children enjoyed being outdoors and they also love digging in the soil, getting dirty, creating things and watching plants and animals grow.
People of all ages can enjoy gardening, but children in particular will have lots of fun and gain special benefits. They can learn about the science of plants, animals, weather and the environment and most of all about healthy eating. But also child safety in the garden is important. Make sure that you have the correct-sized tools for kids and keep away harmful chemicals as well as providing a safe storage for equipment and tools.

It's The Thought That Counts
Gifts are considered to be a blessing. Each time we receive gifts from someone we love or from a dear friend we feel thankful towards that person. The reason why gifts are considered to also be a blessing, it's because they are given without expecting something in return. It is given wholeheartedly not only during special occasions but it can be given even in normal days for no special reason. All gifts are meaningful and they are being kept and treasured as a remembrance from that special person. Most popular gifts are stuffed toys, flowers, chocolates and cute little figurines. But, how about giving something that grows with that special person. Nowadays, gifts that grow are becoming popular and is considered to have deep meaning to those who receives it.
Plants have many benefit to our health and environment. These plants are making it's way into special occasions nowadays. It has become popular and a more practical gift compared to cut flowers that will only last for 2 or 3 days. My husband's co-worker and a good friend of his as well, will be tying the knot next week. So as a congratulatory gift, we are thinking of giving them a double tier lucky bamboo tower. The lucky bamboo is used to attract health, happiness, love and abundance. There are varieties of lucky bamboo arrangements, but the one that we choose has ten stalks which represents perfection in Feng shui. Even though they are easy to care for and a very tolerant plant, these lucky bamboo plants still needs your love and attention, as it likes to look good, just like we all do.
Gifts even big or small are considered to be equal in the eyes of the receiver. And they are not measured by how expensive the content or how glamorous the wrapper is, it's always the thought that counts.

Cherishing The Gift Of Life
The greatest gift and blessing that we received from God is the gift of Life. We should be thankful for the many gifts that we receive everyday. Out of the many gifts, being able to wake up every single day is the one that we should cherish the most. A very close friend of mine will be celebrating their Father's death anniversary tomorrow and she is already busy preparing the things and food that they will be bringing in the cemetery. Since she is the eldest among the siblings, she has to take care of everything for the commemoration of their Father's death anniversary. I accompanied her to the market today , to help out in buying ingredients for the meals that they will be bringing.
After more than an hour at the market, we bought everything that she needs. I originally wanted to help in cooking, but my husband and I, together with our son, had to go somewhere very important. On our way home, we pass by a flower shop and I got interested in one of their flower arrangement. We stop by to buy the flowers that is beautifully arranged in a clear glass vase. At first glance, I really thought that the roses and white lily arrangement is a natural plant. But my eyes totally deceived me, they are actually silk flowers. We will be bringing these pink rose and lily devotion silk arrangement at the cemetery tomorrow. Good thing about silk flower arrangements, is that they do not wither and die, unlike the cut natural flowers. They are maintenance free too, since you don't have to water them everyday or trim and fertilize the plant just like the natural plants need in order to grow and survive.
Life is really unpredictable, we can't tell until when are we gonna stay in this world. We should know how to make each moment count. Also be sure to spread good deeds and happiness because it will definitely be recognized by many even at your death anniversary.

The Significance Of Thank You
A "thank you" could mean so much to someone. It is a sign of your appreciation, gratitude or a polite expression used when acknowledging a gift, service, or compliment. There are many ways to show someone how we are very thankful for their help. A gift could also also be a way we could show how thankful we are towards that person. Usually, we would give cut flower bouquets to show appreciation, but that could only last for a day or two the most. What if we could give something that will grow and blossom just like our heartfelt thanks.
Now we can, with a selection of thank you plants which includes choices for friends, family, co-workers, and anyone who has gone out their way just to help. A friend of mine recommend these thank you plants and she also told me that she had been ordering online through a trusted website. The deliveries were always on time and the plants are really beautiful and well-maintained. Selecting the right kind of plant for a specific occasion is also simple, since plants are categorized accordingly. Our symbol of gratitude would always be remembered as the plants grow with that person everyday. There are people who actually don't know how to say their thank you, giving plants as a gift is actually a better way of showing how you appreciate all the help you get from that person. Good manners are a code of conduct or rules, based on common sense, courtesy and usage. Gratitude is one of these rules.
It's true, No man is really an island. Saying thank you acknowledges our dependence on others. Always remember, if we start chipping away at gratitude and common courtesy, life becomes very unpleasant. People gives these gifts because they are looking for recognition, respect and affection,

Giving Gifts On A Non-Special Day
Gifts are mostly given on special occasions. But there are those people who gives gifts even on ordinary days. They are the kind of people who wants to make an ordinary day extra special. Lucky for those who were able to meet this type of person, because they know how to value relationship and most especially, they know how to value you as a person. I could say that I am one of those lucky people who have met a nice and loving man. My husband knows how to make an ordinary day extra special even in his own simple ways. He will not shower you with extravagant gifts but he will give what your heart desires. Since, he knows that I am a plant lover, he would usually visit a flower or a home and garden shop to check if there is anything new that I would love to have.
He recently bought a bougainvillea bonsai plant, for no special reason. I was very surprised that day when he arrived home holding a pot of flower. He was smiling widely and that gesture truly melted my heart. Ever since that day, I know that our love for each other grew stronger. We also realized that, if you are married, you'll know that happiness in your marriage is as essential as food is for hunger. Surprising each other with little gifts or tokens of appreciation. This will make the moment even more special. It's always the thought that counts. Gifts need not be extravagant or painfully expensive, even a little something would make a big difference to create warmth and sweet memories.
Starting from that one bougainvillea bonsai gift that he gave me. Now, we have a garden full of different flowers, trees and other potted plants. Always remember to marry someone you love exactly as they are, and be sure that they feel the same way towards you. That way, you'll never expect more from each other, than being happy and contented with just being together.

An Unexpected Lucky Charm Gift
We are almost done with the our baby's new room. Just a couple of days more, and everything will be fully furnish. The truth is that, we are also done with the baby shower before we could even start with the nursery room. So we didn't get to tour our guests to our baby's new room. I thought that gifts for our second child would be over, since the baby shower was celebrated a month ago.But one of our child's soon to be Godmother sent another gift. We were very surprised and thankful towards her. She is a college friend of mine, and she is as excited as I am for the coming of our new baby.
She sent a little cutie lucky bamboo arrangement that has a great deal of charm and character. It definitely look great with the ponytail plant that we bought the other day. The little cutie lucky bamboo arrangement features two spiral lucky bamboo stalks that looks fun and whimsy. It is ideal not only for decorations at home but as a gift as well. Taking care of lucky bamboo arrangement maybe a bit complicated. you have to make sure that it receives bright, filtered sunlight and avoid the direct light because it will scorch the leaves. Because they are more tolerant of too little light than too much. Just make sure not to place them in front of air conditioning or heating vents. Godmothers can be considered as second parents to a child. So we must choose carefully those people who can fulfill those duties or responsibilities.
Life is full of surprises. We may never know what the future holds for us. But, at least choose the right people to trust. I am thankful that God has directed me to the path of meeting the right kind of people. Let us celebrate life and be thankful for every blessing that we receive each day.

Sending A Lucky Bamboo As A Congratulatory Gift
Achieving our dreams through determination and hard work are just two components of a successful person. One of our office mates got promoted last day and we all felt that he really deserves it. So, today we sent him some congratulatory gifts to his new office. He was very surprised to see that all of his colleagues and co-workers gather around his office to give him a surprise party. We bought food and drinks to celebrate with him after work. We all know that he feels thankful and blessed not only for the promotion that he got but also for all the people who helped him and supported him all through out his journey and labors at work.
Gifts flooded on his table, but my gift really stood out. It is a green mountain lucky bamboo, which I bought specially for that occasion. Originally I was planning to give him a pen as a congratulatory gift, because I know that he loves to collect all kinds of pen. But then, I realized that since it's a new office he would definitely needed a live plant to brighten up his new room. I also give him tips and advises how he should take care of the green mountain lucky bamboo plant. I also told him that the plant has been artfully arranged to provide a sense and tranquility and peace not only in his office but also in his life and family. Left him a precaution that the plant should avoid direct sunlight, to avoid scorching of the leaves and also not to place it in front of air conditioning or heating vents. He was very thankful for the gifts that he received, as well as the love and appreciation we have showed him.
We must always remember to do our best everyday and to always look our best too. Always have our one foot forward to be ready for whatever challenges that we may have to face. And never to forget to thank God for everything He has given Us and ask for His guidance all the time too.
