Caring for the Money Tree

Pachira aquatica or commonly known as money tree and money plant is a tropical wetland tree of the mallow family Malvaceae (family of flowering plants with over 200 genera and close to 2,300 species examples of which are okra, cotton and cacao) and is native to Central and South America where it grows in swamps. This tree is sometimes sold with a braided trunk and is commonly grown as a houseplant (it is a plant that is grown indoors in places such as residences and offices) and they are also grown for decorative purposes, positive psychological effects, or health reasons sch as indoor air purification. Braided money tree is the easiest to grow and care for and hence, the very popular plant amongst others because of the superstitious belief that it brings financial good luck, especially when received as a gift rather than being purchased.

The tree is popular in Feng shui as the five leaves that grow on each branch are said to represent the five elements. It is an ideal gift for birthdays, baptism, anniversaries and all other occasions too, for a lifetime of luck to someone special. You can buy them at any plant shop or you can order them online and get it delivered within 2-3 business days. Givingplants sells any type of houseplants and gifts that you can grow just like the braided money tree in Cambridge blue container. The plant can vary from several inches high to seven foot tall and requires minimal care and worry because it is rather hardy and slow growing. It grows best in indirect sunlight and water thoroughly but make sure to let the soil dry out a bit in between watering. You can use container with drainage holes and take care not to over water the plant because it might get root rot.

Its thin trunks are usually braided by growers to add to it's appeal and just use a smallish container because too big container will hold too much water. It will also prevent them from growing too big and regular pruning will also help control it's size. In fact, this tree can grow as bonsai. Plants are like humans too, they need things to be just right and not too much of everything.

Friends For Life

Friends are the next most important person in our lives that we would cherish and protect. They are those people that we can run to in times a problem arises or just those ordinary days that you want to relax and have fun. And speaking of friends, one of my closest friends called me up last month saying that we will have an emergency meeting at Rachelle's house because she said she needs to announce something and all of us should be there. We were so curious as to what's Rachelle gonna tell us, so we arrive at her place earlier than expected. We gather around their kitchen table and waited for the news that she is about to tell us, we were all shock with her revelation. She said that she and her Indian boyfriend will get married this September 25th. We were all curious why it has to happen so fast, and asked her if the reason of her marriage is due to pregnancy. She said no and explained the real reason, so we all understood that his Pilot boyfriend is the one who is in a hurry but Rache said that she is also ready.

Now, she is almost finish with the preparation with our help of course, but she is still waiting for her wedding gown to be finished together with the entourage dresses. Her token of appreciation or the souvenirs will be delivered to her house a week before their wedding day. We all had a hard time thinking what should be the best souvenir items to be given to their guests and sponsors, but in the end it is still their decision that was followed. They ordered 200 pieces of Braided Money tree in Cambridge Blue Container, they said that the money tree is a symbol of good fortune, so they wanted to give a little luck to their guests who will be witnessing the most anticipated day in their life. Although it is a bit expensive, but they expect that their guest would also take care of these houseplant as a remembrance of their wedding. Rache was very pleased with how things are going smoothly for her and his fiance.

Soon she will be saying to her single life and would need to embrace the journey of being married, but for us, her friends, we promised to be there for her in times that she will be needing us. Nothings gonna change, although our status in life may change but our friendship will stay the same.
